Join us for an in-depth ceramic demonstration workshop where you'll learn the techniques to throw and alter forms on the wheel with expert guidance from Kevin Kowalski. Kevin will demonstrate three unique forms, showing how to work both on and off the wheel, and offer personalized support as you practice. Whether you're a beginner or experienced potter, this workshop will enhance your skills and creativity in clay. This workshop is demonstration-based and does not include materials or time to work on your own.

Kevin Kowalski started his journey in clay in high school where he fell in love with the possibilities and process of using clay. He graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BFA in ceramics (2005) and MA in Education from Concordia, Irvine (2014). He is currently the VAPA Department Chair and Ceramics educator at Esperanza High School in Anaheim, Ca. His travels and experience in clay builds the foundations for his creative process. The inspiration for his artwork comes from the natural world as he develops his creative landscapes both in his pottery and sculptural work. He currently lives and works in Placentia, Ca with his wife and two daughters.
