Open Studio Appointment Etiquette

  • Cancel your appointments as soon as you know you can’t make it. There is a link to cancel in the confirmation email you receive for the appointment.

  • Don’t book two appointments at the same time in different rooms (i.e. wheel & glaze). Duplicate appointments will be removed.

  • Please don’t take all the appointments! We have so many wonderful students and members — only book what you need.

  • A friendly reminder that we have a lot of clean-up at the end of each night to prep for the next day. If your appointment ends at 9pm, be prompt about leaving at 9pm.

  • If you are enrolled in a 4-week class, all wet work and trimming must be completed during your 4-week session.

  • If you anticipate bringing in a friend/partner who is also enrolled in your session, you each will need to make a separate appointment for them. Double bookings under the same name will be canceled.

  • Members, please be considerate of the classes going on in the Chino room. During class, the instructor is dedicating their time to the students. We ask you keep conversation volumes low when an instructor is giving a demo. 

We do our best to make sure there are as many open studio spots available as possible! The last week of the session is always the busiest for open studio — please anticipate finishing your work during your scheduled class times!
