Committed to learning and growing with our creative community.

ABOUT THE STUDIO

Penguin Foot Pottery is a ceramics studio in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood offering classes, workshops, independent study, TA program, and just about everything our pottery hearts can handle. Established in 2010 by founders Paige & Chris Busse, we have grown to be a 5,000+ sf studio and artist space that gives back to our community through Clay it Forward. Our team prioritizes cleanliness and inclusion for the safety and comfort of our students and members.

WHO WE ARE

A Welcoming Space for All.

Since 2010, Penguin Foot Pottery has brought together first-time potters and creative humans ready to explore the art and play of ceramics. Through personalized instruction and a community that cares, we offer programs for any skill level. Give clay a try for the very first time, or deepen your craft with the tools and space to uplift your creativity.

Studio equity and inclusivity commitment

We are a creative community built on inclusivity and artistic exploration, and we believe in art as a force that brings people together. Whether you are a first-time potter or a seasoned artist, we welcome everyone here. No hate allowed.

The Clay It Forward program seeks to support & fundraise for local, non-profit organizations with the fun of a 3-hour pottery wheel workshop. Workshops are open to all skill levels with all proceeds going directly to the organization!
